2011Scape Forum Guidelines
Welcome to the 2011Scape Community! We're thrilled to have you on board. To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment for everyone, we ask all members to follow these guidelines:- Respect Everyone: Everyone deserves respect regardless of their origin, age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or game skill level. Discrimination, bigotry, and harassment have no place here.
- No Trolling or Flaming: Disagreements happen, but personal attacks, hateful comments, or purposefully antagonistic behavior will result in disciplinary action.
- Safe for Work Content Only: Do not post explicit, obscene, or offensive content. This includes text, images, links, and videos. Please ensure your posts and profile pictures are safe for all audiences.
- No Advertising: Do not promote third-party services, websites, or products, especially those not related to 2011Scape. Unauthorized advertisements will be removed.
- Do Not Promote Rule-breaking: Do not discuss, encourage, or share methods of cheating, rule-breaking, or exploiting in-game mechanics. Members who promote such activities may face bans.
- Stay On Topic: Try to post in the appropriate sub-forum and stay on topic within threads. While off-topic chats are sometimes natural, consistently diverting conversations may be seen as spam.
- No Personal Information: Protect your privacy and that of others. Do not share or request personal information, including but not limited to real names, addresses, phone numbers, and financial details.
- No Double Posting: Please do not post the same content multiple times across different threads or sub-forums. Edit your original post if you need to add information.
- Limit Signature Sizes: While signatures are a way to personalize your profile, excessively large images or long texts can distract from forum discussions. Keep your signatures reasonably sized.
- Use Descriptive Titles: When creating a new thread, use a clear and descriptive title to help others understand the topic at a glance.
- Report Violations: If you see a post or member violating these guidelines, report it to a moderator or administrator. Do not engage or escalate the situation yourself.
- Respect Decisions of the Moderation Team: If a moderator or administrator takes action or provides instructions, please follow them. If you disagree with a decision, contact the moderation team privately rather than disputing it publicly.
- Regularly Review Guidelines: As our community grows and evolves, so might our guidelines. It's a good practice to revisit this page periodically.
Consequences of Violations: Depending on the severity of the violation, consequences may range from warnings to temporary or permanent bans. We aim to create an environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued. Your cooperation is essential in achieving this goal.
