We have some important updates and fixes coming to you! Here are the changes:
Improvements:
- Random Event Timer Formula: We've included XP gained as a factor to modify the frequency of random events.
The new formula is *3 hours (in game ticks) - (XP_GAINED/85000) x 90*. This ensures your effort isn't going unnoticed, and random events will now happen more frequently the more you play. - Music Effects Update: We're making the game more immersive. Music Effects packet now sends jingles when you level up, when a player death occurs, and when you use lamps. Enjoy the game with a little more rhythm.
- Starting Point Changed: All new adventurers will now start their journey in Explorer Jack's house. We believe this will provide a more engaging introduction to the world of 2011Scape.
- Quest Filter: To make it easier for you to find playable quests, we've marked undeveloped quests as completed. This should help you filter through the quests more effectively.
- Teleport Collision: Added collision detection to teleport spells. No more accidental teleportations into objects. You'll land safely where you're supposed to.
- Cooks Guild and West Varrock: Doors and stairs in the Cooks Guild and West Varrock are now fully functional. Continue your adventures without any interruptions.
- Imp Teleport: We've heard your reports and have fixed the teleportation of Imps. No more unexpected disappearances.
